Meet the Founder
Dr. Nicole Henderson, Ed.D.

Dr. Nicole Henderson is a nationally recognized speaker, author, and executive consultant with more than 20 years of executive leadership experience supporting students and families in navigating education and opportunity.
A former Dean of Student Affairs, she has led initiatives that improve student persistence, engagement, and success, while also working directly with families to strengthen decision-making and long-term outcomes. Her experience spans higher education leadership and advising schools and organizations on strategy and impact.
As Founder & CEO, Dr. Henderson has helped students gain admission to competitive colleges and secure significant scholarship funding. She is the creator of the SmartStart® College Success model, a practical, research-informed framework that moves students from access to completion.
Her work is grounded in a clear belief: students don’t succeed in isolation. She focuses on equipping families with the knowledge, confidence, and tools to make informed decisions so success is not just achieved, but sustained.
